Currently in the Twin Cities — July 31, 2023: Warming back up after a nice weekend

Hopefully you enjoyed the more comfortable weekend, things will be heating back up this week. While temperatures won’t be as hot as last week or for as long, it will definitely be hot again. Monday and Tuesday will bring highs in the mid to upper 80s with highs near 90 Wednesday and Thursday. Dew points will also get sticky, in the 60s by midweek, but probably not in the 70s like last week. A cool front will swing through late Thursday touching off perhaps a thunderstorm or two and dropping temps back in to the mid 80s with lower dew points Friday into the weekend.
