Rain returns

Congratulations! We have completed our driest stretch of weather in a month! We’ve only had 0.04 inches of measurable rainfall in the last five days. That’s not happened since May 9-13.

Rain is on the way for late Monday night into Tuesday morning. We’ll then see some midday partial clearing which will lead to the development of spotty late afternoon storms. Wednesday will become steamy with highs getting close to 90 with muggy dew points. That will set the stage for potential severe storms late Wednesday followed by a couple cooler, drier days. The steamy weather (& storms) could return for the second half of the week.
