Plus, new ways to support our independent climate journalism
The weather, currently.
Refreshingly cooler
Thursday will be cooler with highs struggling to reach 70 but should be mostly dry. The next chance of a few showers is in the overnight Friday night, otherwise we have a pleasant weekend with highs in the 70s and mostly dry weather.
We picked up yet more rainfall Tuesday night, officially 0.46 inches at MSP airport but values ranged from a few tenths of an inch to as much as two inches in Marine on St. Croix. Year to date we’re 14.77 inches, that’s about 4 inches above normal. It’s the wettest year to date since 2019 (which happened to be our wettest year on record).
