Currently in the Twin Cities — November 10, 2023: A cooler day
Plus, an all-new Currently Weather Service launches next week!
The weather, currently.
A cooler day
Temps Thursday night will dip to near freezing (the normal low is 30) but highs Friday will probably only reach around 40 (normal is 43). We’ll also see the return of clouds Friday into much of Saturday.
A major warm up then commences. A large upper level dome of high pressure develops for next week. If it were summer, this would be a major heat wave shaping up. Highs will be near 60+ Tuesday into potentially Friday. Those readings are 20 degrees above normal.
What you need to know, currently.
It’s my great honor to announce that we have a big announcement coming next week.
The new Currently Weather Service is designed to be a complete re-imagination of what a weather service can be in the era of climate change. For us, this launch is at the heart and soul of what we want to do and what we stand for: timely, accurate and easy to understand weather information for everyone, everywhere.
This is a project that’s been in development for months and we’re finally ready to share it with the world.
And I can’t wait to share it with you first, next week.
What you can do, currently.
Currently Sponsorships are short messages we co-write with you to plug your org, event, or climate-friendly business with Currently subscribers.
