Currently in the Twin Cities — October 12, 2023: Rain sets in
Plus, our new global warming reality, in one terrifying graph.
The weather, currently.
Rain sets in
We’ll all be in for a stretch of clouds as a developing storm system moves toward Minnesota into Thursday. Rain starts in far southern Minnesota and spreads north and east. Expect a wet evening Thursday into Friday and Friday night with up to 3 inches of rain possible. Precipitable water content, a measure of atmospheric available moisture, will be 2 to 2.5 times the normal values for this time of year making this system a potential soaker.
What you need to know, currently.
